AI is now ubiquitous and full of promise, but with that promise comes risks, especially when we overlook the importance of designing with intentionality. When AI systems are built without understanding users’ needs, context, and values, the result can be harmful, biased, or simply unusable.
To design AI responsibly, we must keep people at the center. We must make it human-centred.
This course explores what it truly means to design a human-centred AI product. You'll learn best practices and gain hands-on experience using the Human-AI eXperience (HAX) Toolkit, a practical resource for creating thoughtful, ethical AI interactions. You will also gain strategies for engaging cross-functional stakeholders—especially when it’s challenging to build alignment or buy-in around a human-centred approach.
